Two Legends Farm was established by The Haney's in 2005 as a 112 acre thoroughbred horse farm located in historic Chesapeake City, Maryland. Chesapeake City, Maryland is the home of the legendary sire Northern Dancer, five times Horse of The Year Kelso, as well as Halo, The Minstrel, and Polish Numbers. Just down the road from Two Legends Farm is Northview Stallion Station, the country's leading stallion operation outside of Kentucky where Not For Love and Two Punch currently stand. Two Legends Farm is also part of over 5,000 acres of contiguous Maryland agricultural preservation area in Cecil County. We began renovations to our farm in November of 2005 and initiated our breeding and racing operation in 2006. Our name was derived from our foundational investment of a 2006 Fasig Tipton Saratoga yearling filly by Not For Love, out of Lunar's Legend (by Polish Numbers) who we named Amie's Legend. Shortly after our purchase of Amie's Legend, we purchased her dam (Lunar's Legend) who was in foal carrying a full sister to Maryland 2005 Juvenile Filly Champion, Celestial Legend, by City Zip. Two Legends Farm is a growing Mid Atlantic Thoroughbred operation offering racing and breeding partnerships to familiar clients as well as offering well bred horses at local and national thoroughbred auctions through Northview Stallion Station's sales division. Currently, our horses of racing age are trained by top trainers at Fair Hill Training Center in Fair Hill, MD. Most of our racing and Broodmare prospects are purchased at yearling and two year olds in training sales. |
